Michele knows these waters the way only a local can. She started this club to empower women to get out on the water more. She wants the women of the Chesapeake Bay region to feel confident and capable on the water, both at the helm and on deck.
Skills matter, and you will build them here. But, this club is about more than learning. It is about fun and friendships formed along the way. It is about the freedom of a morning on the Bay. The quiet pride of docking on your own. The joy of sharing it all with women who cheer each other on.

Meet our founder, Michele Deckman
A long-time Annapolitan who grew up on the Chesapeake Bay, first learning to sail and then taking the helm of a powerboat not long after. The water has been a part of her life ever since.
